This subreddit spends a lot of time talking about the importance of your shallow frame, which are the things you ultimately have control over. But most of the shit you see us sympathizing with each other over - false rape accusations, divorce, and so on - are about deep frame.

An example:

When a woman accuses a man of rape, she is at least partially performing a kind of shit-test, albeit one at a deeper level than we usually talk about here. She's not interested if he can maintain confidence or socially out-maneuver her; she's interested in whether he has the political and economic conditions necessary to overcome her accusation. If he isn't, he's not worth her time.

Men who want to overcome this kind of shit-test should make sure to be born to a prominent, wealthy family with a lot of political connections, and spend a lot of time maintaining the strengths of those connections. Barring that, be exceptionally ruthless and cunning and have a few big gambles pay off, and then use them to buy yourself such a network - and then hope that you can secure it before you piss off any of the Big Boys. Otherwise, you will always fail these kinds of shit-tests, because they're designed to test for resources that can't be faked.

This is why so much of rape accusations seem like they're about punishing lower-status males - she's testing to see if your actual status in society is high enough to legitimize the sex you want to have with her. If it isn't, your life is going to be destroyed. If it is, then even if you DO rape, you're not going to have any trouble getting away with it.

And the thing is, from the RP perspective, this is as much "as it should be" as anything else. Reality is what it is: if you aren't wealthy and well-connected, you're just playing at being Alpha. The Real Deal will beat you every time, and if it doesn't destroy you in the process, it's because you're beneath its attention and not worth its time to bother flicking you away for good.
